Last year I was so good about posting advent each week of December but this year -um- I just wasn’t that organized. We had a great advent though with each day bringing a new family activity. I always put little notes in numbered buckets on the tree in the master bedroom and Em loves finding out what we are going to do each day. Liam reluctantly goes along for the ride.
This year we decorated the house, drank hot cocoa with marshmallows, had a doll holiday party (Liam skipped this one), gave acts of kindness, read tons of holiday books, decorated Christmas cookies, and made Christmas crafts for gifts. It was a great holiday season! I’m sad to see 2014 go though… so many wonderful memories and so many incredibly sweet people I got to meet and work with this year. But I’m hopeful for 2015. I know it’s going to be one of faith, hope and hard work!
We are traveling a lot too so I’ll post pics from the grandparents soon!! Merry Christmas!! xoxo
We also had a “first” Christmas a few days before heading to the Grandparents. I just couldn’t bring myself to try to hide all the gifts in the car this year. Em wanted a scooter and it was HUGE. So we cheated and did it a few days early.
Look… it’s a little Liam!! Can you believe he’ll be 15 this year! Ugh!
