All this rain from the tropical storm this weekend reminded me that sometimes it does rain on your wedding day… but with proper planning and a gorgeous venue, rain can be the lucky charm it was meant to be.
Josh and Cassie were married at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, North Carolina during Hurricane Joaquin. We were lucky that the hurricane’s full force did not land in the area so we had power! It was a gorgeous wedding day even if the plans were taken inside. You absolutely can not go wrong when getting married at The Carolina Inn!
I loved Josh and Cassie’s vows. They were a reminder that often times our plans are interrupted by little surprises – like the arrival of their gorgeous son Liam, but the end result is even more beautiful than what we could ever imagine. It’s a lesson in marriage that is so important. Always leave room for flexibility and rainbows.
